If the 'Bonfire' peach is for the eyes, the Bonanza Miniature Peach is for the appetite. This is a true "genetic dwarf," meaning it stays naturally small without the need for constant, heavy pruning. It’s essentially a full-sized peach tree compressed into a manageable, bushy form that rarely exceeds six feet in height. This makes it the ultimate "living snack bar" for patios, decks, or small urban backyards where space is the most valuable commodity.
Despite its tiny stature, the Bonanza doesn't do anything halfway. In early spring, it is smothered in a dense blanket of showy, fragrant pink blossoms. These are followed by a surprisingly heavy crop of large, yellow-fleshed peaches with a classic red blush. The fruit is freestone, exceptionally sweet, and juicy—perfect for eating fresh off the tree. Because it is self-fertile, a single Bonanza tree is all you need to start your own mini-orchard. It’s a low-maintenance, high-reward plant that turns even the smallest sunny corner into a productive harvest zone.
